Item 2.75: How Many Fortean Novels Exist?

Counting the dozen or so novels that center on flying-saucer reality; the few that deal with reincarnation; the several that explore ghostly phenomena; and the one that dramatizes the life of the original Siamese twins (Eng and Chang) -- we have a dearth of basically Fortean novels.

My own contribution toward augmenting this niche of novelization consists of my 74-page "novmoir" (a novella written as a memoir), titled Conjoined:  The Story of Rex and Roxanne:  The World's First Androgynous Siamese Twins.

Released in July 2010 by Booklocker.com, Inc., this reincarnation-themed paperback also has a lower-cost e-book version available from the producer's web site.

Set in Virginia Beach, Va., the story centers on the question What forces (internal, external -- or both) have conspired to keep these, "the yin-yang twins," unseparated, despite the relative ease by which modern surgery could've done the job ?

Such profundity invites discussion by such reincarnation authorities as Linda R. Backman, Ed.D., of Erie, Colo., whose foreword to the book muses: "Apparently, Rex and Roxy created a complex pre-birth agreement, in defiance of societal norms, to provide potential learning to those with whom they would come into contact demonstrating that interrelationship can, and often does, serve equally as the partners carry out simultaneous roles of both puppeteer and puppet."

Readers may order copies of Conjoined direct from the producer's subpage at http://www.booklocker.com/books/4829.html . Most commercial bookstores can special-order the book for you (ISBN 9781609102418).

Of course, if you insist on owning an autographed copy, I'll gladly mail it to you for the total price of $15 (including postage).  Please contact me as follows:  Larry W. Bryant, 3518 Martha Custis Drive, Alexandria, VA 22302; phone: 703-931-3341; e-mail: overtci@cavtel.net .

If good ol' Charles Fort were alive today, I suppose I'd have to send him a totally free copy, in tribute to his public-edification work.
